And you all think I have a wierd sense of humor.....

ME: ...so I went to the salon and they put smelly things on my head.
ROB: What, like gophers?
ME: What?
ROB: Well, gophers are kind of smelly.

Sigh - he has cut off most of his hair. He has had a bad case of psoriassis on the back of his head for a while, so he cut it short to more easily treat it to once and for all kill it. He puts nasty-chemical goop on it in the morning, then after a bit puts some A&D ointment on it to keep it moist. Of course, when he first told me about this he was distracted and called it 'A&W ointment". I was like "You're putting root beer on your head?"

I would love details on thie "once and for all kill it" chemical goop - if it works for him, what the goop is, and details like that

It's stuff you can get at the drugstore - just a higher concentration of coal tar extracts than your usual T-gel type shampoo - something like 7%. Plus, it's a topical gel rather than a shampoo, so you put it on and it stays on. And lopping his hair to like 1/2" allows more of it to end up on his scalp and not just his hair.

In the week since he did this he has noticed a MAJOR decrease in "crusties".

see.. this is why you both are soo good for each other... you balance each other out and yet complement each other so very well....
