laaazy day
Apr. 6th, 2004 06:33 pmFinally had some time to spend w/Rob. We've both been spending waaay too much couch-time lately, so he put on his SPF100+ and we went to the zoo.
Note to self - NEVER drive to Lincoln Park Zoo. Zoo is free - parking is $12.00!
Saw lots of aminals - mostly birdies, including a stork sitting on a nest of little meeping grey puffballs. (And the buzzards being terrorized by papa-stork any time they went near said heap o'sticks. Saw camel sex - They looked rather bored by the whole thing. Fewer zoo babies than I'd hoped, only a small monkey and a young white-lipped deer. The new African habitat is cool but half the animals seemed to be off exhibit for some reason, and they seem to be building a new ape house, causing much confusion about how to get back to the gate.
They we hied our wimpy tired little asses back to my place for nappage - mmmm snuggles.
Now he's at work. ::pout::
