Jun. 21st, 2004 09:23 pmWe're home again. 1.2 days on the road and 2 days in MN. I hate traveling. I love BEING at other faires and meeting nifty people, I just hate GETTING there.
No more traveling until Labor Day weekend. Yay.
(I don't define the 45 minutes to Bristol and staying the weekend with friends as 'traveling'. 'Traveling' involves at least 2 hours stuffed in some kind of vehicle with people that I generally like but occasionally want to strangle.)
I was able to nap most of the way back, until the rain started mid-way between Madison & Milwaukee. The car drips where the straps to the luggage carrier come in, so I was damp all the way home. Bleh.
Stopped in at Bristol to get photo passes and check out the new Public House performance space. Think we have some ideas as to how to handle it, but it will all depend on where the patrons end up congregating.
Will do for real write-up of King's Island Renaissance Faire at some point tomorrow.
Brought some hay all the way back from MN for hamster to play with/in/on. He is puzzled.
