Ran CheckDisk, and it's quieter now, but still slow and noisy.
Borrowed laptop from John - after blowing off large quantities of dust it tells me that it has no operating system. Oh well.
will keep fingers crossed.

Progress

Only teeny little scraping sounds coming from computer, so I have high hopes it will last at least thru the end of the week.

tarsa's skirts are done, and the bodice is mostly complete - it needs only grommets, tab epaulets, and of course sleeves.

Now of course, I need to decide what I'm going to wear at MiRF this weekend.
