The girl who lived
Mar. 31st, 2006 08:35 pmDespite what it may have sounded like at times, I did not in fact expire at my desk today. Symptom-wise I don't feel any worse than yesterday - just less fevered and more fatigued. I'm still panting like a puppy and occasionally barking like a drowning elephant seal, but I did not fall down on anyone or anything, and I may have even remembered my alphabet!
But I'm still taking the most paranoid of courses and locking myself in my apartment for the weekend. I just returned from the grocery store with yummy nutritious foods, and I am settling down to a dinner of Rainbow Roll and something green to drink (which assures me it is ever so full of good things, and that I should probably feel loads better just standing next to the bottle). I have a coupld of library books, and a bunch of DVDs I really should get round to watching. And I have a truly frightening array of smelly-bubbly-things with which to take long steamy baths with/in.
So I shall nourish, and rest, and soak, and drink lots of liquids and generally be kind to my immune system.
