Went to gaming tonight - much distracting laughing. We played 'Deadwood' and I finished smack dab in the middle.

So far I have updated my profiles and resumes with Careerbuilder, Monster, Illinois Skills Match, Loyola University, and the City of Chicago.

Tomorrow is a perm appointment and a trip to Microcenter to get some working USB ports on this system. Sunday afternoon is rehearsal. Monday is a trip to unemployment, then I'll reward myself with a trip to the library. I'll have lots of reading time.

Anyone with a car want to make a Sams Club run? I have a one-day guest pass good thru 4/26.

A $20 PCI-USB card from MicroCenter and I'm back in action!

I can finally use all my toys. I've synched up my Palm for the first time in almost a month (it was making me twitchy). I can put stuffs on my MP3 player again. I can scan stuff. And print stuff. and take pictures again! (well to be fair, I could always TAKE them, I just couldn't get them out again) And I can burn CDs if I am so inclined.

Phew!
