I'm being audited - sorta.

The IRS claims I under-reported my self-employment income for 2004.

Once I started breathing again, I took a closer look at the paperwork. They have TWO entries for 1009s for band income from jmthane. Ah - I remember - she forgot something the first time, and issued a second "corrected" one. Twits counted BOTH of them.

Sometimes it's good when you can call up your "boss" and say "Can you make copies of what you sent the IRS in 2004 and bring them to Sunday's rehearsal?"

Hopefully, her papers plus my papers equal sufficient evidence to beat the IRS about the head and shoulders until they go away and harass some other unsuspecting taxpayer.
