Yeah - fun times. Looks like there was a system a few years back, but then the company pres got overwhelmed, and they ended up with all 3 accounts from one bank all stuffed in the same binder, and 4 months worth of statements, deposit slips, and misc notices not even opened! Today I got most of that sorted out - each account has it's own current year binder and an "archive" binder, so you don't have to haul out the 10lbs worth of paper every time you need to check something. I was only able to find papers on the commercial loan through 9/04, and the pres says they've had it since at least 2000, and that it's "filed somewhere else". I asked if I should simply settle up what I had, and assume that the other papers were happy and content where they were. He agreed.
When I called the insurance broker to sort out what needed to be done about the business liability coverage, she sounded absolutely thrilled to be talking with someone interested and competent for a change. Yep, Wendy to the rescue once again!
No doggie today. Prolly a good thing as I seem to have picked up a cold. I was sniffly last night and zonked out on the couch. Woke up only to take vitamins, rinse out my nose, and crawl up to bed. This morning I felt better but was definitely sick. Yay for new Alka-Seltzer Cold meds that taste like orange!
But am in a better mood because a bid I'd totally forgotten about may be coming through for the band. 'bout bloody time something went right around here....
