I think Pepper's almost better!
Nov. 30th, 2006 07:06 pmWe've been at all the various meds for almost a month now, and I think she's getting better. Her ear doesn't smell infect-y any more, and she's more active than she's been since I got her. Of course, that isn't always good - but I guess I didn't NEED that pad of paper anyway. Besides, the little nibbly edges are really quite charming....
And the bunny that would NEVER let me touch her head - is starting to accept head-pets! She only tolerates them when she's on the couch or on her big tall bookshelf perch. Stealthbunny thinks it's because in those places my body is lower than hers. Makes sense to me.
But it's pretty funny to watch her try to decide if she likes them...She will start to flinch a bit, and then it's "Hey, wha....ooo...oooooo......that's kind of.....ooo....nice..mmmm..." and her little eyes will start to close.
We're not back at the vets till the 23rd, so I'm supposed to just keep giving her meds till they run out. But I'm starting to think we're going to get through this OK.
Dear Santa - what I want for X-mas? A healthy bunbun!
