*cough cough*

My doc upped a couple of my meds on Saturday, both because I have been having awful times with the cold dry air we have had lately, and because I'm still occasionally coughing up leftover goo from my last lung infection. One of the meds she upped was the new-and-improved albuterol (xopanex). But by Tuesday I had a nasty dry irritated upper-chest cough all day and I actually called in sick yesterday. Since doc never called me back, I rested a lot and skipped the xopanex altogether, and I'm MUCH better today. I think the xopanex is just too strong and/or irritating for me to use every 6 hours.

We have below-zero wind chills today, so I wore not just the Puffy Coat of DOOOOM (the big blue down thing that makes me look like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Woman) but also the Stoopid Hat (The fur-trimmed hunting cap with the bill and ear-flaps. It looks incredibly stupid, but people stop me in the grocery store to ask where I got it because it also looks warm). That's me - Nanook of the North Side!
