Day and April Fool's Day). The idea behind Get Over It Day is simple: EVERYONE has
SOMETHING to get over - a recent breakup, work- or school-related issues, basically
anything you're friends are tired of hearing you complain about - and everyone likes
a good excuse to get together with friends and/or party.

Got a bunch of sewing done tonight - I'd been putting it off for a while but the fitting is Saturday so I was out of time. It's Dave's coat for the "Who Wants To Be A Superhero" thing. Body is basted together but I need to fit the shoulders and shoulder pads (his shoulders are a bit uneven) before I can draft and cut the sleeves.

Cutting out fabric is slightly more difficult with a bunny in the house.

Feeling much better this evening. Yay for antibiotics!

Most of our little hail-piles have melted. This morning we had what looked like slush, until you looked closely and saw that it was made up of teenytiny hailstones - about the size of beanbag-chair filling. But it got really warm and rainy this afternoon. Now we have flooding, because the ground is still mostly frozen and a lot of the drains are covered with piles of snow.
