Time to get outraged again....

Ohio legislators are pushing a bill they claim "would give fathers a choice when it comes to abortion"

"As written, the bill would ban women from seeking an abortion without written consent from the father of the fetus. In cases where the identity of the father is unknown, women would be required to submit a list of possible fathers. The physician would be forced to conduct a paternity test from the provided list and then seek paternal permission to abort.

Claiming to not know the father's identity is not a viable excuse, according to the proposed legislation. Simply put: no father means no abortion"

Umm - so a woman could be forced by law to carry an unwanted child to term in the name of "father's rights". DO NOT WANT!!!

Dude, if you're not comfortable with the idea that "your" woman could abort "your child", you could, oh maybe EITHER FIND A WOMAN WHO AGREES WITH YOUR VIEWS or DON'T HAVE SEX!!! That is where your "rights" begin and end.

End of an era

I'm retiring the Tambourdean.

The last time I took it out for a gig I lost 2 more "jinglies" and with only 4 left it really doesn't have a good sound any more. With MiRF coming up, and knowing that we need to play the "Korabushka" 2-3 times every day, it it apparent that it was time to replace an old friend.
