drivin' in my car
Nov. 4th, 2007 05:18 pmwell, my car till 6 pm or so tomorrow. Enterprise has 50% off weekends so I reserved a "compact" for $17.50/day with inlimited miles. Since they had overbooked themselves I ended up with a vanilla colored PT Cruiser for the weekend. Nice car, but the controls are in wierd places.
Yesterday was mostly in-town stuffs. Went to Sams Club, picked up a papasan chair from someone on craigslist, got my hair cut short and fuzzy (I give up - I look like my mom), and went a bunch of places to look at furniture. Didn't realy find anything I liked. Then in the evening was Candy's annual Halloween party which was awfully nice to go to. Sorry John, I forgot to bring your CDs, but Wen & Kendy will catch you at Windy.
Today I went to Loews (electrical stuff), American Science & Surplus (random stuff), Mitsuwa (Japanese stuff), Cost Plus (scented candles and bunny-stuff), and IKEA, which is where I got a nice smallish desk to replace my old-sewing-table-with-the-mismatched-hutch-from-when-I-worked-at-ACS. So I'm posting before I start taking everything on here apart and then assembling and re-wiring. Pepper will supervise, I'm sure.
