well, they're right
Dec. 1st, 2007 06:55 pmit's sucky out. Snow/rain/freezing rain.
rose1thorn called off the planned going-through-
jfc013's-clothes because of the probable driving suckage. So we've put that back to next week. Anything we don't want or can't think of a home for will get bagged and tagged for charity donations after the first of the year (for deduction purposes). With
ashtalet having bought a condo now, it's a little more urgent that this get dealt with so that he doesn't have to move any of it come January-ish.
So since I had more time than I'd thought, I started on the weekend's planned chores. I got the last of the cards written up and addressed for the alt-pets-rabbits card exchange this year. Mostly US, though a couple of Canada and UK, one Germany and one Netherlands, so it's best to post them as soon as possible. My personal cards went out on Friday, as did the Merry Measure ones.
I have done a couple loads of dishes (mostly stored stuff that was dusty) and have certainly put the Roomba through its paces. I even mopped the bathroom floor again - considering that most of a bottle of baby oil and half a bottle of conditioner were spilled at various times over the past few months, it was about bloody time. Even washed out my makeup organizer and sharpened all my pencils!
Tonight I hope to get more bs cleaning stuff done, redye my hair and put up my holiday decorations. I can't finish the turkey soup because I'm out of ziploc bags, and I'm waiting till tomorrow to venture out to get them. The Radio City Christmas show is on TV tonight, so maybe that will get me in the holiday-ish mood.
