I was actually tired and grumpy for most of Capricon.
It was nice to see people and all, but I ran into a couple of people who hadn't head about Janet yet, and that conversation certainly puts a damper on happy-fun-times.
I remember when "staying up late at a con" didn't mean having to take an afternoon nap.
I got some books - new and otherwise - and a double-feature dvd of "The Crawling Eye" and "The Killer Shrews".
I thought they were sposed to post online who won the awards, and I wanted to see if Terrence's rum punch won - it was nummy. But the website is already redirecting to next year's site and the forums are unhelpful.
Looks like tonight is laundry, tomorrow is AM interview, ful work day and then overdubbing and mixing in the evening. The guys are final mixing on Wednesday evening and I should be able to get the CD off to the manufacturer on Thurs or Friday at the latest. Thursday rehearsal, and Friday Saturday and Sunday are the Chicago Maritime Festival. I don't want to be this bisy any more.
