In the home stretch
Aug. 11th, 2008 08:30 pmSTILL don't have the closing date yet, but I passed a milestone tonight.
I finished the last piece of garb I needed to (once I found the grommet-die), so that's done and hemmed.
I have 2 weeks of "work clothes" including undies hanging in the closet. The garb for the upcoming opening weekend is packed and a second weekend's worth is packed in a box with "WEEK TWO GARB" written on every side in red sharpie. So if things collapse in a heap, I can stuff everything else I own in a couple of Hefty Bags and move it on fairly short notice. I'd rather be a bit more careful about it, but it is possible.
But most importantly, I can pack the sewing machines. (All 3 of them - 4 if you count the serger) tonight.
