Rush hour in cleveland is still rush hour
Jul. 9th, 2009 08:52 pmI left at about 9:30 and missed most of Chicago's rush hour.
The travel plazas in Ohio suck.
Pepper dug at her carrier a lot, and wouldn't take water from a syringe but she ate some wet cilantro around lunch and celery around dinner.
It took just about 2 tanks of gas to get here, about 550 miles.
My knee hurts- I miss cruise control.
I'm now settled in the Microtel just outside of Rochester NY. Pepper has already thoroughly explored our tiny little room - "Micro" ain't kidding. But as I'm only here to shower and sleep that's fine. I have 3 jillion cable channels and Pepper is stretched out after a nibble and a drink.
I hope to be headed out of here around 8AM local time which should get me to the campground by lunchtime.
