One year ago and thanks

One year ago, a woman from one of my online groups was hiding under the desk of her office in Mumbai, across the street from the train station where the first terrorist attacks began.

But with her laptop, she wasn't alone - we were all there with her through those hours of fear and anxiety.

I give thanks that she is alive and well and for all the friends I have made around the world through this tiny screen.
