We got issued our laptops this morning. We are supposed to be charging them over a long lunch, and then we have the "intro to your equipment" class. Of course, I trotted right up to my room and popped in my network cable (thanx Cyd!) and am happily getting my fix.
It's a Dell Latitude D600 with a DVD-ROM, and a Palm M515. Looks like I was right and I will have to keep home and work Palms separate. If I have a few E-books on there and then try to download the entire screener roster from LAX into it, PLUS the evaluation scenarios, I suspect that the magic smoke will come out.
I'm so psyched! I may not know much about security protocol and law enforcement, but this shit I know! I've already been the "go-to" person on several set-up questions.
AND the sun is finally out!!!! It has been raining or at least cloudy since I got here, and I have been joint-achy and feeling faintly mildewed as a result.

I could be a snow bunny or whatever they call them.. up here in summer there in winter.. really I could! Try me... I could give up snow and ice and cold... it might be hard to do ;> but I know I could!
