I can't stand the thought that I will be forgotten. That the world may turn on without even a blip for me.
I think this is an issue for a lot of people, not just artists, although it may touch closer to the core for artists than for others. We all want to feel as if we've left at least a small mark on the world. And we do to the extent that we touch and influence others.
