Missed another day of work today. Nothing like missing 2 &1/2 days of work the week before they have to decide whether to hire you or not.

Spent the day on the couch, lying very still and trying to breathe shallowly. Yep - bronchitis again, with bonus yellow glop.

And trying not to cry from pain and frustration. When every breath burns, when your muscles ache from coughing. Then the burning stops finally, and the inside of your chest aches and itches so that you can't sleep. And you wonder at what point THIS job is going to give up on you. Scared that despite every precaution you'll get a secondary infection, and end up coughing blood again, and will this be the one that damages your voice beyond repair and every breath makes you want to cough but you try not to because it HURTS

Being me is not fun right now.
