I totally agree with capi, hon -- it's not your problem. It's not something wrong with you -- if you hadn't had to pester people for the information to do your effing job, things would probably have turned out differently.
I'll lay you money right now the next person to do that job gets fired for one of two reasons -- either the same as you, or "incompetence" because he/she/it *didn't* pester people for the information they needed.
I do feel for you about the shiny NU degree...at this point my post-grad history looks like this: '89 - '91, copywriter for the Home Shopping Network; '92 - '00, various positions in Mudano Associates Architects, Inc. (please pay no attention to the fact that the company name is the same as my unmarried name!); unemployed from '00 - '06.
Robin going back into traditional school means that my time should be free enough to get at least a part time job (taking care of Dad still being a major priority), but what can I get with a history like this? Gods forbid they actually ask me what my major was!
