Warm but wrinkly

wendyzskiI giggled a lot at the fashionable shivery people on the train this morning, because I am snide like that. Also I actually listened to the weather forecast sometime in the past week and hence knew that we were going to suddenly get OMGWTFCOLD last night. (20s in the outlying burbs, 30 near the lake) I had on suitable outer garments, though the intolerable smugness of my demeanor was somewhat overset by the fact that even hanging it up for a week in an occasionally-steamy kitchen could not disguise the fact that my coat was stuffed in a box for 6 months. Oh well, it's supposed to get warm again by the weekend so it can go visit the cleaners for a few days.
My heat finally came on around LOST o'clock last night, and the temps in my apartment seem to be averaging around 70. Yay for ceiling fans in almost every room! Boo for a drafty bathroom window though - how to insulate it in such a way as to allow the window to still be opened on occasion? Because mildew is NOT a hip design element.
LOST was interesting but I'm just not that into Sun and her issues, even with a crunchy topping of wisecracking Sawyerisms. "You taste like fishbiscuit" still makes me giggle.
Laundry tonight. My life is so exciting.
EDIT - IT'S SNOWING!!!!
