wendyzskiAs I did not have any brain tonight I skipped Serious Gaming tonight and moved up my I-Go reservation of an evening of retail therapy.
A bit of fiddling when I actually turned up a few minutes before my reservation was due to start, but a phone call and a few minutes soon set me right. You use your smartcard to trigger a widget installed on the dashboard. Blinky lights commence while it verifies your reservation and unlocks the doors. The actual key you use to start the car and to lock and unlock it while you're out and about is in another widget in the glove compartment - pulling it out "starts the meter" as it were.
Hit Sams Club for about $175 worth of generally useful stuffs. (And yes, I DID buy a case of TP) Dropped in to PetSmart but only ended up with another pack of those treat-boxes that Pepper loves so much - I promise to take pictures this time! There were all kinds of pet clothing on sale rtight by the door but all I coudl think was "I think my bunny would eat my face off if I tried any of these". Then to Target for misc clearance stuffs - gloves, sneakers, and a few other on-sale things.
I spent a bit too long wandering around Target so I was running up close to the end of my reserved time. I hauled the one big heavy box of stuff up the stairs and came back down with my cart so I could go turn the car in and just bring the other stuff back in the cart. Slid back into the parking space only 2 minutes late (though there was some fiddling while I tried to figure out how to put the key back in it's widget in the dark).
Walked home and unpacked all my goodies - Pepper is thrilled with the pile of empty boxes I created for her in the kitchen. Too tired to have anything for dinner except a bowl of raisin bran. It's been over a week and I wish my body would go ahead and make up its mind if I'm getting sick or not. I've been feeling a bit "off" since last weekend, but haven't actually had any symptoms for more than a few hours at a time. I'm supposed to go to a song circle tomorrow night out in the burbs but I may bail and stay home in an effort to finally kick whatever this thing is (or isn't).
Now for a nice long hot shower with the moisturizing shower creme I bought, then a slather with the matching lotion and off to bed.
