Anyone get Renaissance Magazine?
I understand that there is an ad on the back cover in which a picture of Minstrosity appears.
1) Can someone confirm this?
2) Can someone send me a scan of this ad?
Use of our image is covered under copyright, and usually we specify use for the show year in which we are actually booked, unless the show has this kind of thing in their stock contract. So this might be a problem if we are being used without our permission to advertise a show that we (obviously) won't be appearing at.
Thanks muchly!

A couple of the larger corporate shows reserve a longer period to use photos, but I'd say 2/3 of the contracts we did specify use "to promote the 2006 show only" or whenever we were contracted for. As Minstrosity won't be performing any more, using our image to promote a show could be a violation of the contract that was signed. Won't know that until I can see the ad and/or find out which show it is for.
And we can't let it go because if you don't defend stuff like this you are assumed to abdicate your rights.

I'd prefer not to bother the magazine as 1) I'm not sure yet that there even IS a problem and 2) even if there is it's between us and the people that placed the ad.

You're one of about five pictures from the faire, scattered throughout the full page ad.
You're pennywhistling at the time. As opposed to singing.

Send email to acroyear70's email on livejournal, and ask him to scan and send (he's working right now or I'd call him).
