Excercising my freedom to nap
A nice lazy day inside for Pepper and I. Bunnies don't like fireworks (boom boom *thump*!) So we spent the day inside chillin in the AC, and now we're sharing a salad (though my half has chicken and ranch dressing on it). She doesn't seem to mind though, as she is currently doing the "I has a karot!" dance in the kitchen. She looks really funny, as she has completely shed a 2" band from hip to hip going around her butt and the new fur is MUCH shorter than the old.
Made a big pitcher of iced green tea sweetened with simple syrup that I infused with lime and ginger. Very tasty. Did some light reading and napping. After all, this is going to be a busy late-summer-early-fall for me so I have to get all my goofing-off done now while I have time :)
I did re-fit the kirtle-bodice I made, so now I can adapt the one I started and can cut the new ones. But mostly it was a whole lot of nuthin. mmmmmmmm
