In all of the banging things about yesterday that occur when you are trying to assemble and wire an IKEA desk with the "help" of an inquisitive bunny, my ancient monitor seems to have finally given up the ghost in the machine.

Anyone have a spare monitor to sell/unload? Don't need anything fancy - I'm still on dial-up for goodness sakes! But I'd like to actually be able to USE the computer I got in June!

Well, Windy would work, except that I'm coming back via public transit (Dave G is crashing at my place so I'm not sure i can get a ride for both of us and luggage).

Maybe we could meet up halfway some evening I could get an I-go? We'll talk on IM. and THANKS!

Windy is a good part of the way into Chicago for us anyway, so we can drop it off at your place. Might even be able to give you and Dave a ride home.
