My LJ settings

This is hereby notice that I will probablt be setting my journal to "Adult Concepts" in about a week or so. This is the setting slightly below "Adult Content", so it should only be blocked if you have manually set your "Safe Searching" options to the highest setting.
(See my previous post if this makes no sense to you)
This is not because I think that my journal should not be read by anyone under 14, but rather that I am concerned about stoopid or annoying people flagging me for "inappropriate content". I am an adult, and sometimes I talk about adult things. I don't want to have to worry about some self-appointed LJ thought police (or a pissed-off ex) trying to get my journal deleted or something because I posted a dirty joke.
For those of you read this journal directly and not through your LJ account, this shouldn't affect anything. If I'm on your Friends List, I don't THINK it will affect you unless you change your settings, but who knows.
I'm a huge advocate for both privacy and free speech, but I respect that there are people who for whatever reason want to filter their online reading. On the off chance that some of them come across this, I think that "Adult Concepts" is the proper tag for my journal.
If I suddenly feel a burning need to start writing Raggedy Ann/Andy incest bondage fic, then I can change the settings later....
