Ahoy!
It's coming up on that time again!
THe 6th Chicago Maritime Festival sets sail at the Chicago History Museum on Saturdat February 23rd. There are presentations and concerts all day, a special concert in the evening, and usually an open Chanty Sing on Sunday afternoon.
I will once again be performing with the Old Town School Sea Music Class, as well as the All-Hands sing-in, Sing-Out, and evening concert finale. I will probably be volunteering again as well.
So think about stopping by or even volunteering! We always need people to give directions, sell tickets and T-shirts, or make coffee - and for 4 hours of this (since you were going to be there anyway) you get free admission to BOTH the day events and evening concert.
