RE flesh and projectiles: I remember reading in some Star Wars: EU novel or other that it is very difficult to kill a Hutt with a blaster (which as we all know do not fire lasers, but some sort of charged projectile somethingy-thing, which is why you get blaster recoil) because they are mostly just flesh blobs with very deep internal organs.

I thought that was a nice touch.
