Bunny family reunion

It was bunnyday at Midwest Exotics today. There were 5 buns when I arrived, and 4 more while i was there. Many were current or former residents of the Red Door shelter, which is where Pepper came from.
We got to meet one of Pepper's former foster-mommies. She was happy to see that she has a loving home and is spoled rotten, and I thinked her for having a hand in Pepper's impeccable litterbox habits. She also has Pearl, who was one of the buns I met when I first went in to be picked out by a bun. Pearl was an older bun, and I also know how hard some red-eyed-whites have finding homes, so I was very happy to learn that she has a forever home of her own
As I was waiting for paperwork, someone else came in with a pair of buns - one of whom was Sawyer, the big brown bun that Pepper tried to smack around on the last round of bunny-dates. I'm so happy that he found a home and a wifey-bun all his own.
Pepepr's ear infection seems to have cleared up, though I'm supposed to keep up the rinsing weekly as a preventative. Sadly though, her sneezing seems to be getting worse, so we have 3 weeks of Baytril (plus a probiotic to avoid tummy-troubles) and then another visit. Yay for VPI (pet insurance). I still have a deductible for each condition (teeth, ear, nose) but everything else gets reimbursed at 90%.
I managed to walk 2 blocks to the car (with the cane) and then back (without the cane) with only minimal trouble. Actual driving was a challenge - I could handle the gas pedal fine but I forgot about having to rotate the foot to switch from gas to brake and back. I ended up with one foot on each pedal - which made things a little jerky. Add to that the fact that the car was having power steering issues and it wasn't the most fun I've ever had on a Saturday morning. So I'll definitely put off laundry until later this evening, if not tomorrow.
