wendyzskiWe trotted off to the vet this morning because the Baytril just isn't working. Pepper got better for a week or so and then started slowly getting worse again, till we were actually a bit worse than we had been before she started the meds. Sad little wet noises from under the sofa :)
We got the vet that I trust more, and she agreed that a sinus flush and a culture were needed to see exactly what germie we were dealing with. How undignified! They said Pepper was a good bunny but I suspect that they lie. She's also lost a tiny bit of weight - about .02kg every 3 weeks. She's not been her greedy little piglet self of late, and the vet reminded me that she probably can't smell much of anything - hence she is eating and pooping, but a bit less than usual. Nothing to be immediately worried about, but enough to indicate that she's not feeling at all well.
So we're off all meds now and waiting for the culture to come back in 3-5 days. Poor thing is sneezing again, but it's a higher pitch now so I think it's leftover sinus rinse.
I was going to go fabric-shopping this afternoon but it's cold and s'posed to rain again. I think I'll do laundry, clear out the sewing room, clean and oil the machines and make the petticoat instead (I was planning on converting an old Faire one that has a couple of rips, so I have that already).
