packing packing packing
I already dropped a bundle of shelves on my ankle. Good thing I havent packed the first aid kit yet.
I have a box of shelves and stuff labeled "'Things You Hang on the Wall" for $500".
Packed up the main computer (wrapped up in my papasan cushion), so I'm on the lappytop for the duration.
Had to run out and get tape and stretchy-wrap but I pretty much have everything else I need.

Wanted to sleep late but only managed till 9 - a pretty solid sign that my brain chemistry is still a bit off.

Taking a bit of a break before the next step - hauling the unwanted table and broken dresser down to the dumpster.

Ha! Hopefully, since we're in a house, we will NEVER have to move again (now with my luck we'll get transfered to the Netherlands or something) but if we do, I am going to try and take some of the pain out of it by doing creative box labels like you did...although if we do ever have to move out of country and into a new language/culture, maybe I'll also label everything in the new language. lol

At a convention a few years ago I was VERY tired by the time it came to setup the consuite, so the soda coolers ended up with rather creative labels. Brown, diet brown, diet green, flat and fruity, clear and fizzy, etc.

Similar states of fatigue are responsible for the fact that we have "neener neener" on the liner notes of the last cd. When I get tired, my 'editor' shuts off.

And that's exactly why some of my auction listings are definately more punchy than others. Like the one for my Ken doll, where I asked forgiveness for his state of nudity, and for the Baby Shoggoth Plush, where I described it as scarey, yet cute as a button.

Yeah- I've been getting into some freelance writing lately, and *I* can tell when I wrote something whilst tired, even if my editor can't and thinks it's brilliant...

Let us hope that you KNOW the new language before you start labeling, or you may find that your dishes will be lost in the basement and your underwear be unpacked in the kitchen cabinets.

Ooh- that would be brilliant, particularly if we were in a place like Macao or such (my husband works for International Game Technology, so they have many random places where he could be sent): "What? No, that's where I keep my underwear!"
