[13:17] wendyzski: I'm still trying to get around the idea that it's sooooo romantic that he BREAKS INTO HER HOUSE TO WATCH HER SLEEP!!!
[13:17] gaivs_petronivs: it's a teenage thing?
[13:17] gaivs_petronivs: afik
[13:17] wendyzski: If that had happened while I was in HS I would have tried to brain him with my wall-hanger sword
[13:17] wendyzski: of course, this may explain why I'm still single..

(and just finished book 3, in which things even out because I wanted to strangle pretty much EVERY major character at some point)

*raised eyebrow*

Maybe it's a teenage thing, but it's not even remotely in touch with reality. Let's glamorize illegal behavior! Let's make it COOL to break the law! Yeah, we need MORE of that crap around here!

I'm with you, Wendy.....

Oh, goody. There's some stuff in #4 that should light you up enough to be seen here in the twin cities.

I think what is supposed to be romantic is that he wants/needs to be with her, but doesn't have sex with her. **shrug** I just thought it was a teenage rebellion thing because 1) you're not supposed to have boys in your bedroom and 2) you're not supposed to see your boyfriend after curfew.

I had an ex-boyfriend try to get into my house during high school one night. I got so freaked out by him tapping on my window I told my parents, who called the cops. :-p

Okay, I'm gonna get blasted here... (no offense will be taken)

Am I the only one of my friends who thought that it was an okay book? True, it was incredibly juvinile (it is a YA fiction after all) but I read it for the sake of reading it.

Young girls went bloody nuts over Harry Potter and the whole magic thing and look at how quickly that passed. Teenages will do what teenagers will do and no book or romantic fantasy will alter that much.
Just my double penny though!

I had a guy who broke into my house to watch me sleep (among other things). It wasn't sexy or attractive...it was stalking and scary and eventually he escalated and move 800 miles to lose the bastard.
Note to self: Never read the Twilight series.
Hugs-
Kell

OMG! There's a new Southpark on right this second, where the goths of Southpark are totally annoyed by the new vampires in the school. If you're into that show you should check it out. I'm sure it will repeat tomorrow and next week.
