I can't speak for the other judges, but I gave you first rank on use of theme, but using the secret ingredient in only one place really brought the score down. There were something like 5 categories that teams are ranked on, 4 of which are about the secret ingredient. Even then is was VERY close, and the 2s and 3s are what made the difference.
And yeah - wish I'd been able to make the panel, but I was on my way to the airport. I was writing websites in Johnathan's notebook at the Barfleet party the night before so I was there in spirit at least.
