The pics are still streaming in from Windycon, and I'm just aglow from all the compliments. Or it might just be exhaustion - I'm not entirely sure. I have lots of new facebook friends as I'm getting tagged in people's albums - lots of "Oh THAT'S that guy's name - the one with the cool hat/gun/backpack/goggles/etc". Because you can't always refer to people as "Gatling-Gun Raleigh". (The guy with the awesome modded belt-feed Nerf, who plays Raleigh at the Michigan Faire, and whose name is Cliff)

Local Chicago folks - if I can get my download working properly, anyone want to come over this weekend and watch the new Who special 'The Waters of Mars"? I was thinking Friday, since ashtalet is going out of town so the usual default Friday night gaming isn't happening. Anyone?

I will be posting more complaints about condo crap at a later date - I came home to find the boiler shut off, the temps at 63 in my unit and water all over the kitchen floor from a new leak in the radiator piping. But right now I want to go stare at the TV for a while.

Everything sounded like the masquerade went so well and you were just so positive and happy looking that I was really excited for you and I didn't even see any of it! I'm glad it went well.

I didn't catch the Masquerade, but I sure caught a LOT of costumed people posing for photo shoots afterwards! Amazing stuff!

Maybe you should make the boilers more Steampunk, or hire some ren faire armored guards to keep the idiot away.
