Going to the memorial was very hard - It's really hard to drive when you are leaking tears, and walking in to that tiny boxy rural Kentucky church was awful. I have no idea how I'd have gotten through without ladyariyana alongside. She was also a huge help to Clay - she's the one who found the wedding rings that she had taken off before the surgery in Lori's Pooh jewelry box, and who held Clay as he wept and raged on the floor of the apartment.
We did talk about you, and the baby, and how excited we are all for you and how much it SUCKS that Lori won't have the chance to fuss over him/her.
