I think eventually that will happen. But right now I'm content with fostering. It's still too soon after Pepper's death for me.

Plus I still have the vet bills hanging over me - I think I can pay most of them off now, but I haven't actually gotten the bill from Care Credit yet.

I'm starting to think that Portia might be good to try clicker-training with. She's been pushed around so much, and she's so active and curious but still skittish - I wonder if it might be a good distraction for her, let her feel like she's more "in control" of things, and could help her be more adoptable. The only issue is that she's either not terribly treat-driven or I just haven't found the right treat yet.
