That's a really interesting observation. Especially with food, as I am similar, and used to be much more so. When I was a child (cuando era un niño....) I was really weirded out by things like cake and ice cream touching on my plate on my birthday. My sweetie bought me some ice cream that had bits of potato chips in it recently and I didn't care for it at all.

Of course, I was also weird enough about food for a while that I would only eat the frosting from the cake. I've always had major problems with food that doesn't have a uniform texture throughout, or things that are at all fibrous or squishy/wet like vegetables and fruit, though in the last year or so I've gotten a lot better.

I like scents and perfumes though, though I don't often wear any. And I like relatively complex design schemes. I tend to like vivid colors in photographic subjects too.
