If he'd actually come and talked to me it won due one thing, But this passive-aggressive BS is crap. At one point, he monologued to the sky, stomped indoors, slammed his kitchen door, and turned up his stereo. What are we, 12? He certainly never asks me if it's convenient when he decided to BBQ and fill the deck area and my kitchen with smoke?
I've got drip trays under everything, but sometimes it's hard to tell what you're pouring in. I decided against any kind of carpet because the decking is wood and I didn't want the possibility of damp carpet causing damage. He's lived there for 3 years, during all of which I've had the same garden stuff, and this never came up before.
