Well, when the firm admin came back from vacation today, she called me into the office to find out what the problems had been last week.
When she asked how things stood, my comment was "Well, I'm not ready to quit yet, but I'm starting to wish he would fire me".
Her comment..."That's fair".

Date: 2004-06-07 04:12 pm (UTC)When the firm admin is aroud to act as a buffer, it's actually not too bad. She lets him treat her like that.
It's gonna be interesting when the legal sec gives her notice (in about 6-8 weeks). As I explained to the firm admin today "Would he rather have someone who makes occasional mistakes, or no one at all? I understand that 'he's not going to change', but he needs to understand that the corollary to that, whether he fires staff in a fit or they get fed up and quit,is that it's going to be back down to him and you, plus two associate attorneys. That isn't going to be any better for any of you."
Staff meeting tomorrow morning will be interesting....
