1. Go to my userinfo page.
2. Pick one person on my friends list you're curious about.
3. Comment with their username.
4. And I will talk "All Kinds Of Shit" about them (I reserve the right to determine what constitutes "All Kinds Of Shit").

This should be entertaining, because there are quite a few people on my F-list that I have never met, and at least three that I know absolutely nothing about except that they make nifty costumes.

unfortunately, Drea is one of those Kansas City Faire people that I can never remember their names. I know I must have met her, because we know a bunch of the same people, but I'll be damned if I can remember which one she is.

(see - I TOLD you there would be a bunch of people I know next to nothing about. Maybe they will see this and change that.)

Randy is one of the Northwestern University escapees that make up my local excuse for a social group. He is a professional computer nerd who is perpetually harried and stressed about his job. The small company he works for has been teetering for some time, but he has so far managed to remain usefully employed. (This is the company where that guy interviewed me with his fly open)

He and his wife [livejournal.com profile] blkhawk are the occasionally amused caretakers of Evil Ted, who is apparently the world's stupidest cat. Despite brief stints in St. Louis and Las Vegas, he could no longer resist the pull of Hotel Northwestern (You can graduate any time you like, but you can never leave) and now lives in the north suburbs of Chicago.

He never seems to actually write anything in his LJ, keeping it mostly as a way to have a F-list. If he did, it would probably be complaining about work.

I'll resist the urge to pick someone I already know *waves to [livejournal.com profile] starstraf and [livejournal.com profile] jfc013* and go with [livejournal.com profile] dragonshelle. Awesome name.

Yet another one of my "friends" who I have never met. Shelle is a rennie and a Wench from California. We encountered each other on ca_amethyst's list during last year's fires - she was the point of contact for quite a few people who had to evacuate, and fielded calls, e-mails and kept track of who was staying with whom though the whole thing.

I know she is occasionally blond, also has asthma and allergies, and makes nifty jewelry. She made me a nifty blue/silver "bracelet" that I wear on my ankle. She has a pretty silvery-grey bird.

She's my wife; I've pointed her at this entry and comments, and defer to her for further comment.

Billie is a renaissance musician from IA. We met her when she and her then-affianced foolscap were part of 'Orkes & Trolles'. (Which I have always pronounced 'orkees and trollies') They got marriaged and now they are 'Consort Something-That-Begins-With-An-A-and-is-hard-to-spell. She carries everything including the kitchen sink hanging from her belt. There is something about a stuffed sheep that I've not been able to quite figure out. She also does community theatre.

If I may... irpooh, cuz I have played the bear of very little brain 10 times for the Ingersoll Children's Theater... it feels like an alternate persona.
Scurvy - is the stuffed sheep... he has more fans than Concentio Agnorum does.. he is a "mascot that guards our tip basket while we perform"
And... just one other little note - no offense taken - but I haven't done community theatre (or theater) for about 12 years, only been doing the paying gigs, which is what my degrees are in.

I'll ask about [livejournal.com profile] rowangolightly because the name makes me think of Holly Golightly.

Susi was Queen Liz at the Kansas City faire for many years. We met her at the Mansfield MO faire (aka 'That Awful Mansfield Thing'), and she is mostly responsible for getting us hired at KCRF. We, in return, are at least partly responsible for her moving to Oklahoma.
(thebruce claims he started ren-performing fater seeing us, they met when he was performing, and the rest is a really icky and complex story with a surprisingly happy ending)

She's a redheaded Leo who makes beautiful costumes and who don't take shit from nobody.

I think I've managed to identify most of the Galaxy Rangers and other Chicago area fen that I've met (waves to astalet, blkhawk, geekymary, jfc013, jmthane, post toastie, rmjwell, and starstraf), so I'm going to ask about Vakkotaur.

"THAT" David

Paul was our first groupie! We met him at some faire in IA. He's an Animaniacs nut, knows how to make explosives, and is a fledgeling furry (but we are willing to forgive him for that). He does something tech-ish for a living. He too was unable to stop the whole "Tron-Man" thing from happening.

I think the faire was Salisbury. I wouldn't say that I really know how, in the "been there, done that" sense. I am merely aware of some chemistry. I am also aware of why not to apply all of it. I like having all my fingers and both eyes, for instance. The fancy name for what I do is embedded systems programming. That means I program computers most people don't see but expect to just work.

OK, I'm curious...

Liz is a fiddler from Minnesota. We know of her thru Bruce The Bruce, and met her for the first time in person at the Kings Island Faire last month. Never got a chance to play with her, though. She just cut off most of her hair, and had wisdom teeth out last week.
