well,I suppose if you applied it directly...but that would get sticky.
I survived with a cool washcloth, lots of aloe gel, and Burts Bees Carrot lotion once the burn had stopped developing. I'm only itchy now, but no signs of peeling.

I have some burn cream that I've been using..... but it'll be a few days till the "pins & needles" feeling goes away.
