Rob just called and said he had been thinking and he could tell how much I didn't want to go to the game on Friday, so he is going to call his brother and tell him to sell the ticket. Turns out he had told brother than I probably wouldn't be interested in going, but brother bought ticket anyway.
He is working Sunday at Bristol, so he is going to do the family thing on Friday, spend Saturday with me, and do faire on Sunday.
It was really the combination of setting and wanting to impress the family that was doing me in. One major stress at a time, please.

Date: 2004-08-03 01:49 pm (UTC)Me, well.. last non-kid game I went to I was in middle school... and went book in hand (and read *most* of the Phillies game). The kid games nearly always see some sort of finger twiddle or other pulled out of my bag :-)
BTW, I saw a clock that would make you laugh at Kitty Hawk Kites last week... a "Hamster clock". Ok, so it's a mechanical hamster, but.... And no, I'm not kidding http://www.stupid.com/stat/HAMC.html see?
