Actually, it looks like my sewing machines had a wild party while I was out. Thread & fabric bits all over.

Nan's stuff is done - I haven't poked my fingers this much on a project in years. Luckily I only bled on the parts that don't show. It was kind of hard to play whistle tonight with band-aids on my fingers.

My mom loaned me money to pay the rest of my rent. So still broke-ish but bills are paid. Yay mommy!

Tomorrow is the 'Garage Sale' at the store at the Old Town School of Folk Music. Hoping there will be something fun. Have cash and "wish-list" from John - maybe he can finally get a guitar case that isn't 50% electrical tape. I plan to be there when the doors open at 10AM.

Have some Rob-Time in afternoon before heading off to MiRF. Wow - two whole days without 6-8 shows a day. What AM I going to do with myself? (snicker). Look for me in navy peasant-ish on Saturday and burgundy/black/silver nobles on Sunday. HAVE to wear the peasants first - no one will recognize me without my cleavage!

Somebody 'splain to me why it is I am wearing sweatpants and a BDU jacket in the middle of fricking August?

Even for Sac that's hot. When you have to run the A/C until 10ish at night, that's a bit much.

It was 63 outside when I got up. (and only 69 inside). We've had highs in the 60s the past 3days.

Here in Muskogee it was 55 this morning, and it'll get up to 80 today. Ain't many people complaining, but some are wondering if this means it will be an arctic winter coming.

I think the overnight temp was around 76-79. Fortunately it's looking like the temps will cool-down to low 90s for today. Yeesh. You know something's off when you consider low 90s "cool."

Perhaps someone's already packed up the excess heat and is shipping it your way.

you know I have always suspected that sewing machines (as well as other appliances .. oh and pets.. pets too) have wild parties when we are not there... after all there is no possible way we could ever make such a mess! ;> right??? lol

Yeah for Rob time, though I guess I had figured maybe he was going with you.. would have been much fun to introduce him I would think.. still wishing I could figure out how to meet you up there.. I want to go to faire and I want to be with Wendy!! (ok sorry for the cranky preggers lady whines.. really I have been trying not to whine so much.. but trust me I have been, my poor man... what he has to deal with!)
well it is not 60's here during the day at least but has been cooler all week, coolest today, high of only 70! The overly hot pregnant woman is rejoicing, kids are whining. lol go figure
