Scary Halloween

jfc013 and ashtalet's party as the scariest thing I could think of - a Republican! I wore a navy pinstripe suit, heels, and pearls, put the elephant logo and a "vote" button on my lapel...I never got 'roud to the scariest part of the outfit - I had a dowel rod that I was going to tape to the inside of my skirt so it showed out the bottom - as the "stick up my ass". It would have been hard to sit down.
We (the above pluspost_toastie and blkhawk, as well as the un-LJ'd JCW da DMG) ate BBQ, chatted, ate candy, and watched Bubba-hotep. Stoopid but fun movie. Then Randy & Leah were nice enough to drive me home, which was much appreciated as there is much inconvenient work on the trains near me this weekend.
Tomorrow I intend to curl up in my jammies, eat candy, and watch all 10 hours of the WYCC 'Secrets Of The Dead" marathon. Educational AND creepy!
No word from the Rob-Man, but he may not have checked his e-mail yet. Meh.

Date: 2004-10-31 11:33 am (UTC)Glad you had a great time.. we went trick or treating here with kids...going some more in a few hours, going to Charles' sister's for dinner then over to her M-I-L's for trick or treating.. which is extra good because there were a lot less apartments giving out candy here this year, did not get much and all the yummy chocolate is already gone!
