saturday night's all right for napping

• Slept late. mmmmmm. (This is my last weekend off for a month)


• Did dishes. Still have more dishes to do.


• Got to see Rob for a few short hours. He is looking MUCH better! His anemia is almost gone, so he is pink again. We're still not "medically approved", as his blood and other tests indicate he still has an active infection someplace. But hopefully a new experimental antibiotic they have him on will finally do the trick. He's still tired-looking (probably an effect of the 10-14-hour days he has been working) but he laughs out loud again. Yay! (I was soooooo worried)


• I napped again, then decided to put laundry off till tomorrow. It's cold and rainy out.


• Packed up winter clothes and got luggage out for OKRF. Burning spice incense in the closet now to freshen stuff up.


• Must muster up energy to go to the grocery store - I am out of flour, and want to over-stock the freezer while i have a chance.

But mostly have been taking advantage of my last chance to rest and recharge before starting a month of 7-day workweeks.

Tomorrow I have a perm appointment, so I will have smelly itchy hair for 2 days but then 6 months of not having to fuss with my hair in the morning. Stop by Vague Fabrics to see what's on sale. Bake sourdough rolls, breakfast bread-things, and anything else I can think of. Do laundry.

My life is SO exciting....
