My hair is purple!
Apr. 29th, 2004 04:12 pmWell, not that bad, but a darned sight more burgundy than usual.
I used my usual hennalucent, half burgundy and half sunset-glo. Left it on the usual time, but forgot that I had a 3-day old perm!
When I first saw it, I dove back for the shower and scrubbed twice with a shampoo/baking soda paste (which is good for getting buildup out of your hair). Then I conditioned the hell out of it with the Burts Bees hair butter to put back all the oil I just stripped out.
Since it's a semi-perm, it will fade over time, but it's still a bit startling. Hope it doesn't clash with the red dress I'm wearing on Sunday.
