I'm a charity..

My mom is retiring October 1st, and is cleaning her closets. Now that I have a dressier office job, she asked if I was interested in some of her old suits. She wears the exact same size I do, though my legs are shorter. I figure I can always re-cut the jackets shorter to better suit me.

I was mentioning this to the Legal Secretary in the office, and she said "Hey, you want a set of luggage?". Seems HER mom would really like some of her basement back, and since she has her own complete set, was going to donate the old one. She still is - just to me! (She saw my pathetic beat-up hard-sider in the office closet this morning.

The Firm Administrator is moving this weekend, and has been boxing stuff up. She turned up a few days ago with a big bag of travel-sized shampoos and lotions. She said "I know you travel a lot, and I really don't want to move all this".

Hee. Better than retail!

The man makes absurd amounts of money, bills clients at hundreds of dollars an hour...

and when we're short on spoons and there is a big meeting first thing Monday morning....

He sends the receptionist down to the Starbucks in the lobby to steal stir-sticks.
