I just don't get it

I just don't understand race relations.

There is a movie coming out soon called "White Chicks", where two black actors disguse themselves as white women.

Artistic merits of the film aside, the subject baffles me.

If someone made a film where two white actors disguised themselves as black women, the protesters would be screaming. Press conferences would be held and boycotts threatened.

So why is the converse okay?

Isn't that some kind of "reverse racism"? Or shouldn't it be just plain racism, if it's directed at anyone because of their race.

Maybe I just don't get it.

I'm scared!

They just delivered the weekly flower arrangement for the reception area.

It's huge, and I think it has teeth.

There are big red scaly things and round puffy white things, little green podules and huge waxy leaves.

I want to put up a sign that reads "Beware of Plant"

City wierdness

Sometimes it's fun working in the downlown area of a major city.

Though I wasn't able to find out what the fellow in the chicken suit and the Superman cape with the megaphone on State Street was so all-fired upset about.

Happy hair

I re-dyed my hair. Not henna - actual dye. (so as not to be purple again - since 'sparkling burgundy' is the only kind I had lying around)

It's Garnier #694 - Light Copper Mahogany Brown. Never used this kind before but it seems not to have stripped oiut my hair much. Glad I stopped off @ Chez Supercuts for a trim first though. No more 'splody hair!

It's definitely bright. Made sure to do my eyebrows too, so it's not too absurd. The conditioner is yummy too.

So I'm all red-headed and wench-y for Kings Island this weekend!

I hate it when that happens...

We regret to announce the unpleasant passing of wendyzski, who on the 5th of December of this year was callously cannibalized by Gizmorlag the Slug Demon. This unfortunate incident occurred in a sewer pipe in Seattle, WA. The deceased was reported to have shouted "Did you hear something?" just before expiring. wendyzski is survived by a goldfish. Funeral services will be held the 5th of next month.
